The vision statement or aims and object of the Society are:

• To promote the conservation of flora, fauna and landscape values of Karawatha Forest and adjoining bushland for community benefit.
• To promote educational, cultural and scientific opportunities within the forest for community benefit.
• To promote appropriate management of Karawatha Forest for community benefit.
• To strive to limit the impact of urbanization on the Forest for community benefit.
• To protect and to preserve Karawatha Forest and adjoining bushland as key ecological areas for community benefit.
• To educate members and others into the objects of the Society.
